Practice Overview

Parschauer Eye Center was founded in 1946 as “Sandusky Ophthalmology” under the skillful guidance of Dr. James E. Walker, who introduced the practice of ophthalmology to this area. He was joined in practice by Dr. John Parschauer in 1979 and by Dr. Ken Parschauer in 1984, followed by Dr. Eric Dudenhoefer in 2006.

Getting my laser procedure was one of the best decisions I have made and getting it done at Parschauers was an easy decision because of their reputation, amazing and welcoming staff, and how comfortable and easy my preparation, surgery, and recovery was. I had the monovision done and this was the best thing I ever could have done. I am a nurse and in the past I would always have problems. Smudges, fogging up when wearing a mask and so on. Do more advertising in regard to the monovision option available. It’s your best-kept secret.
